Memories

We cannot escape memories. They appear and take hold in the present moment as if no time has passed. Some memories we want to relive and some we wish would fade into the depths of our past, never to rise again. So we must take great care in what we allow ourselves to become immersed in, for it is in those endeavors that lie the memories we cannot escape.
